Clubhouse

  • Are dogs allowed in the clubhouse?

    • No. Only service animals are permitted in the clubhouse. All other pets are prohibited in the clubhouse.​

  • Where do I get a new access card?​

    • PMP issues access cards. A replacement card is $25. To obtain one please contact Jordan Ritter - jordan.ritter@pmpbiz.com)​

  • Who is responsible for trash removal at the clubhouse?​

    • The clubhouse cleaning crew also removes the trash. The trash company only provides trash pickup for individual residents, and for the pool during the pool season​

Pool

  • Does my child need a pool pass?

    • ​If your child will be 4 years old by the start of the pool season, they will need a pool pass. Also if you request a caregiver pass for your household, all children in your household regardless of age must have pool passes to verify that the caregiver is indeed watching someone in the household.

  • How do I acquire an extra guest pass?

    • Extra guest passes may be purchased from PMP.  The cost of an additional pass is $25.  To obtain one, please contact James Appel (james.appel@pmpbiz.com) with PMP

  • Should members keep their pool passes from year to year?

    • Yes, to save costs, pool passes are valid for multiple years and new stickers will be given out each year. 

  • When do lifeguards have to be present in the chair and on the deck?

    • The rule is if there is one swimmer in the pool there must be a guard in the chair.  If there is one patron on deck there must be a guard on deck. 

  • Will the HOA be selling pool passes to individuals who do not live in Canal Run?

    • No, the HOA will not be selling pool passes to individuals. If the HOA were to sell pool passes, the HOA would have to upgrade the pool to be compliant with updated regulations and retrofitting the pool would be expensive.

Snow Removal

  • Is the HOA responsible for plowing community roads?

    • Frederick County plows country roads. The HOA plows private roads. The only private roads are Swains Lock Ct, and Cassidy Ct.

  • Is the HOA responsible for plowing sidewalks?​

    • The HOA plows community sidewalks. Homeowners plow their sidewalk, neighbor-to-neighbor​

Trash and Recycling

  • When is trash pickup?

    • Trash pickup for Green wheelie bins is every Thursday. All trash must be in the Green bin, as the trash company will not take loose trash/bags.

  • When is recycling pickup?​

    • Recycling pickup is every other Tuesday (shifted to Wednesday for Holidays). Check the calendar page for exact dates.

  • When is yard waste pickup?​

    • Frederick County collects yard waste paper bags and ​bundled yard waste on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month until November. Plastic bags are not recyclable yard waste and will not be collected.

  • When is bulk pickup?​

    • Any bulk trash pickup will be scheduled and announced by PMP and on the calendar.​
